In a world of negativity....

I want to say something positive.

Normally, people bag on Wal-Mart. No reason to rehash that. I want to say something positive about them today.

I buy a lot of ink. Lexmark makes a nice inkjet (Christmas present), but it eats the ink.

So, I buy a 40 dollar two pack (one color and one black), and trundle it home. The black doesn't work. I try bleeding the cart, smacking, stopped short of the hammer. I am so used to how life is now, with .5% manufacturing defects, I actually think for a while it might be the printer. Its' not.

I don't want to spend another 20+ dollars on a black cart to replace the one that didn't work out of the pack. So, the thought dawns on me to return it. I know, crazy talk.

But, there I was the next day, at the refund counter. You know what? They let me get a NEW ink cartridge! I expected bitching, arched eyebrows, rolled eyes. In fact, they were very nice about it. I felt like a drug seeker. I had my whole story laid out, and didn't need any of it.

So, thanks Wal-Mart. Quite decent of you.
